These terms apply to umbergoods.com and to every order
placed through it. By ordering, you agree to them.

1. OUR PRODUCTS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We sell art materials and related goods.
Colour on screen. Paint colours, wood grain and paper
tone will not look identical on your monitor or phone to
how they look in your hand. Screens vary. We photograph
our products as accurately as we can, but some variation
is normal and is not a defect.
Natural materials. Items made from wood vary slightly in
grain and tone from piece to piece.
Specifications. Sizes and weights listed on the site are
approximate and may vary slightly between production
runs.

2. WHO OUR PRODUCTS ARE FOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Our products are made for adults and older children
using them independently.
They contain small parts and are not suitable for
children under 3 years old. Younger children should not
use them unsupervised.
Our products are art materials. They are not toys, not
food, and not intended for any medical or therapeutic
purpose.

3. PRICING & PAYMENT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
All prices are shown in US dollars.
We may change prices at any time. Changes never affect
an order that has already been placed.
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment
provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Applicable sales tax is added at checkout where required.

4. ORDERS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You'll get a confirmation email after ordering. Please
check the details — especially the shipping address.
If something is wrong, email us within 12 hours and
we'll fix it. After that the order usually enters
fulfilment and can't be changed.
We can't take responsibility for orders that fail to
arrive because the address given was incorrect or
incomplete. We can and will help you sort it out, but
we can't guarantee recovery.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an
item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or an
order looks fraudulent. If we cancel, you get a full
refund.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping is free on every order.
Delivery times shown on the site are estimates, not
guarantees. Customs, weather and carrier delays are
outside our control.
Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject
to import duties or taxes charged by the destination
country. Those charges are the customer's
responsibility.

6. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Every order is covered by our 60-day guarantee. Full
details are in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms
part of these terms.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The text, photographs, layout and branding on this site
belong to Umber and may not be copied or reused without
written permission.
The Umber name and logo may not be used without our
permission.

8. USING THIS SITE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Don't use the site to break the law, place fraudulent
orders, scrape or copy our content, or interfere with
how the site runs.
If you send us photographs, reviews or other content,
you're confirming it's yours to share, and you give us
permission to display it on our site and social channels.
You can ask us to remove it at any time.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total
liability for any order is limited to the amount you
paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer
protection law that cannot be limited.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our
place of business. Where local consumer protection law
gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.
We'd always rather resolve a problem by email than any
other way. Write to us first.

order is the one published when you placed it.
